De cursus begint op een fraaie avond in Rotterdam, bij bedrijvenwijk Rivium. Ook hier is weer het uitgangpunt: denk in series. Waarbij uiteraard de lichtval technisch uitdagend is.
Maar laten we beginnen met ... de huiswerk opdracht. In drie delen. Eén: een aantal klassieke stijl foto's van gebouwen te maken, in jawel, zwart-wit. Twee: één of meer tweeluiken met mens(en). En drie: een of meer series met als thema "wat zie ik?".
Because of other plans in the new year a continuation into the third-year course was not possible. But Luciana offers a short course, which fits in my scheme: the matrix, aimed at architecture photography. Something that has my interest anyway.
The course starts on a pleasant evening in Rotterdam, at industrial area Rivium. Starting point: think in series. While the waning light creates a technical challenge off course.
But let's start with ... homework. In three parts. First: some classical style pictures of buildings, in - yes, once again - black-and-white. Second: one or more diptychs with human(s) in them. Third: a thematical series: "what do I see?"

4: Minder vreemd, maar toch: Radio Kootwijk.
