C4.7 - Schoonheid van stilte, vergankelijkheid, het einde of de dood.

 Het zit er op. De laatste opdracht van deze cursus is ehm, bijna klaar. Niet meer "gewoon" plaatjes maken, maar werken vanuit een idee, vertalen naar een project, dat in gang zetten en blijven schaven.  De foto's zijn er, nu nog de vorm om je onder de aandacht te brengen.

Een prachtig en breed thema, "de schoonheid van stilte, vergankelijkheid, het einde of de dood". In mijn geval resulterend in een serie detailfoto's van grafstenen uit de laatste circa 70 jaar. Iets teveel foto's (30+) om hier apart te plaatsen. Maar wel in PowerPoint/video. 

Plus: één toch wel mooie prent die niet in de serie paste. En foto's van het museum in Hilversum: "schoonheid van stilte"  in een gebouw.

It's done. The last task in this course, and it's ehm, almost finished. No more "just" making pictures but starting from an idea, turning it into a project, starting it up and continuiing to improve. Well, the photos are ready, no for a proper form tu show them to the world. 

A beautiful and broad theme, "the beauty of silence, decay, the end, or death". In my case resulting in a series of detail photos of gravestones from the last 70 years.  A wee bit too many (30+) pictures for this blog to place the seperately. But they are here in a PowerPoint/video form. A short summary: I notieed that gravestoneculture is also changing over the years. From simple, often religious markers in the 1950's/70's to bright and lively art almost nowadays. From "Memento Mori" (remember to die) to "live your life".

Plus: one picture that didn't make the series, and some of a museum in Hilversum: "beauty of silence in a building".
